The Chapel is designed to reflect the Christian roots of St. Xaviers college, with the form and facade being abstracted from the shape of a Nuns Cape. The Altar is the primary focus of the interior, visible from all corners of the hall and flanked by niches containing statues of important saints. The Pyramidal-shaped main roof rises towards a skylight with air vents, which allows natural light to filter through and warm air to move out of the chapel. This sustainable design element reduces the chapels dependency on artificial lighting and air conditioners, hence, reducing the electric load of the building.
